Dr. Andrew Jones is a Board-Certified Veterinary Radiologist serving California's Central Coast Area. He is experienced in Radiology, Computed Tomography, MRI and Nuclear Medicine for both small and large animal patients. To gain his certification, Dr. Jones spent a 4-year residency at UC Davis VMTH. While there, he as personally read over 5,000 small animal radiographic cases, 2,000 large animal cases and performed approximately 2,000 ultrasound exams. He was also secondarily involved in thousands more cases during his residency and has seen thousands since that time.
Dr. Jones spent several years as a private practitioner before going into Radiology. Because of this, he has a practical perspective on handling cases and the different goals that clients may have. Interpretation of radiographic and ultrasound images is always challenging and often frustrating, yet the information contained in these images is critical for diagnosis. Dr. Jones can help you maximize the diagnostic value of these studies with his experience and expertise in image interpretation.
